Departure port

Port d'Aiguadolç, a step from the Garraf cliffs

Every boat trip in Sitges starts at Port d'Aiguadolç, the marina at the eastern end of town, right at the foot of the Garraf hills. It's about a 10-minute walk from the centre, so if you're staying in Sitges you can stroll down with your towel over your shoulder.

Being on the east side pays off: a few minutes after leaving the harbour you're already cruising under the Garraf cliffs, without crossing the bay. That's why a 2-hour trip from here still has time for a proper swim in a cove.

Getting there

  • By train: the R2 Sud from Barcelona (Estació de França, Passeig de Gràcia or Sants) stops in Sitges with no changes. From the station it's about 1.4 km to the marina as the crow flies, heading east past the old town.
  • From the airport: take the train to El Prat de Llobregat and change there for the R2 Sud to Sitges.
  • By car: the C-32 motorway or the coast road, the C-31.
  • Meeting point: the exact pontoon and time come with your trip confirmation.

East is the classic route. Cala Morisca is the go-to swim stop on a 2-hour trip, and with half a day you can follow the cliffs all the way to the little port of Garraf. If the wind blows from the east, the skipper turns west towards Playa del Muerto and its quieter coves. Every cove, and how long it takes to reach it, is in our guide to the beaches near Sitges.

FAQ

What people ask us about Sitges

Got another question? Write to us.

Where do prices start?

From €200 for a 2-hour sunset trip and from €243 for 2 hours with a skipper, always with the whole boat to yourselves.

Can we hire a self-drive boat?

To drive it yourselves you need a boating licence: Spain has required one for any hired boat, however small, since 1 October 2026. Every trip on this page comes with a skipper, so nobody in your group needs one.

Where do the boats leave from?

From Port d'Aiguadolç, the marina at the eastern end of Sitges, about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. The exact pontoon and time come with your trip confirmation.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

On most private trips you can, but every boat has its own rules. Mention it in your request and you'll know what's allowed before you confirm.

Will we stop for a swim?

Yes, that's half the fun. Even on a 2-hour trip there's time to drop anchor in a cove such as Cala Morisca, about 2 nautical miles east of the marina, and jump in.

Can we hire a catamaran in Sitges for half a day?

Yes. Catamaran trips from Aiguadolç run for half a day or a full day, with time for a couple of coves, a long swim and lunch at anchor on the full day.

Can we play music on a boat party?

On most boats you can bring your own playlist and drinks for a toast. Each boat has its own rules, so tell us your plan in the request and you'll know what's allowed before you confirm.

What time does the sunset cruise leave?

In the early evening, timed so you're at anchor as the sun goes down: in June and July that means leaving at around 8pm. The exact time for your date comes with your confirmation.

How many people fit on the boat?

Up to 12 people on a skippered boat, up to 9 on a hen or stag party and up to 12 at sunset. More of you? Tell us and we'll find you a boat.
