Sitges Pride 2027 (9–13 June) and Bear Week: how to enjoy them from the water

Sitges from the water: the church above the rocks and a turquoise bay

In short

Sitges Pride 2027 runs from 9 to 13 June, Wednesday to Sunday. The Bears come twice: the Bears Sitges Meeting from 29 April to 2 May 2027, and the big Bear Week in September (2027 dates still to be announced; in 2026 it ran from 3 to 13 September). Between parties, the best plan is a private boat for your crew from Port d'Aiguadolç, a 10-minute walk from the town centre.

Sitges has three dates to circle on your 2027 calendar: Pride in June, and the Bears, who come twice, in spring and at the end of summer. Here they are, checked with the organisers, plus the plan that makes the trip: a day on the water with your own crew.

Pride is five days by the sea that end with the parade; the Bears Sitges Meeting is the spring edition, with 1 May in the middle; the Bears Sitges Week is the big one. Dates from the official Sitges Pride and Bears Sitges websites, last checked in October 2026. We'll add the September dates as soon as the organisers publish them.

Sitges Pride 2027: 9–13 June

Five days of sun, sea and parties in a town where the beach starts right at the end of the street. The week builds day by day and ends with the parade along the seafront, the moment the whole of Sitges comes out to celebrate.

  • Midweek: the town fills up and the parties get going.
  • The weekend: beach days, pool parties and the liveliest nights of the year.
  • The finale: the parade along the seafront, and one last night out.

The 2027 programme hasn't been published yet, so we'll leave the times to the organisers. One tip that's always true: book your bed and your boat early. Pride week is the first to go.

Bears Sitges 2027: May and September

The Bears come to Sitges twice a year, both times organised by Bears Sitges. Lots of people search for it as “Sitges Bear Pride”, but they're two separate events from Pride, each with its own vibe.

Bears Sitges Meeting: 29 April – 2 May

The spring edition, from Thursday to Sunday, with 1 May in the middle. A more relaxed crowd, long lunches and the first warm days of the season. The sea is still fresh in May, so think sunshine on deck and a quick dip for the brave.

Bears Sitges Week: September

The big one. The 2027 dates haven't been announced yet; in 2026 it ran from 3 to 13 September, so keep early September in mind. The good news: after a whole summer of sun the sea is still warm, and a day at anchor is pure bliss.

Pride from the sea: three plans with your crew

The streets are packed, the beaches too. Out on the water, it's just you, your friends and the coast of the Garraf. Every plan is a private boat with a skipper, only for your group, from Port d'Aiguadolç. You'll find every trip from the marina on our page for private boat hire in Sitges.

Morning swim before the party

Leave in the morning, before the town wakes up. On a 2-hour trip you're swimming at Cala Morisca, 2.1 nautical miles east under the Garraf cliffs; with half a day, you can head west to l'Home Mort, 2.7 miles away, and take your time. Back in town for lunch, recharged for the night. Every cove, with its distance from the marina, is in our guide to the beaches near Sitges.

Sunset on the water

Two hours as the light turns gold, with Sitges glowing against the evening sky, then straight back to the marina and into the night. Find out what time the sun sets in Sitges on your dates and book the sunset cruise from Sitges.

A full day at anchor

The ultimate recovery day. A full day on the water: several coves, long swims and lunch at anchor, with the skipper dropping anchor on sand, never on the seagrass. No clock, no queues, no plans other than the next swim.

Why it works so well

  • Your music, your vibe. Inside the marina it's slow and quiet; once you're past the harbour mouth, press play.
  • Nobody has to drive. The skipper takes care of the boat and you take care of the party.
  • No licence needed. The skipper sails, so nobody in your group needs one: here's why you don't need a boat licence in Sitges.
  • Only your crew on board. It isn't a ticketed boat party shared with strangers: the boat, the route and the playlist are yours.

Packing for the day? A swimsuit under your outfit, flat shoes and sunscreen go a long way: here's what to wear on a boat party.

Our pick

Half a day with a swim at l'Home Mort: time to cruise along the coast, anchor, swim and sunbathe on deck, and still be back for the evening. Up to 12 people on board, from €390 for the whole boat with the skipper, split between all of you.

Book early for Pride and Bear Week

Event weeks are the first to fill up, at the marina too. If your dates aren't fixed yet, ask anyway and we'll send you options you can confirm later. Coming as a big crew? Tell us how many of you there are and we'll find the right fit, from the catamaran in Sitges, with deck to spare, to two boats sailing out together.

Frequently asked questions

When is Sitges Pride 2027?

From Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 June 2027, dates confirmed by the organisers. The week ends with the parade along the seafront.

When is Sitges Bear Week 2027?

Twice. The Bears Sitges Meeting runs from 29 April to 2 May 2027, and the big Bears Sitges Week is in September. The September dates haven't been announced yet; in 2026 it ran from 3 to 13 September.

Is there a boat party during Sitges Pride or Bear Week?

There are ticketed boat parties, shared with whoever buys a ticket. Ours is a different plan: a private boat with a skipper for your group only, with your music and your swim stops.

Can we hire a private boat during Pride?

Yes. Skippered boats leave Sitges marina for 2 hours, half a day or a full day, for up to 12 people, from €243 for the whole boat. Pride week is the first to fill up, so ask early.

Where do the boats leave from?

From Port d'Aiguadolç, the marina at the eastern end of Sitges, a 10-minute walk from the centre. The exact pontoon and time come with your trip confirmation.

Do we need a boat licence?

No. The skipper sails the boat, so nobody in your group needs a licence: you just enjoy the day.

Can we play our own music on board?

Yes, as soon as you're past the harbour mouth: inside the marina, boats go slowly and keep the volume down. Bring your playlist; we confirm each boat's sound setup with your options.

Which beaches can we reach by boat?

Cala Morisca, 2.1 nautical miles east of the marina, and l'Home Mort (Playa del Muerto), 2.7 miles west, are both easy swim stops. Our guide to the beaches near Sitges has every cove and its distance.
